Trustee: Kathleen Vermillion
Kathleen Vermillion, Director

Kathleen Vermillion has been a long time advocate for homeless teens. She is the founder of the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth and has helped build the charity into one of the most respected nonprofits in Nevada. Kathleen understands the needs of the youth she advocates for, as she herself was a teenage runaway. She often mentors young women who share similar life experiences.
Ms. Vermillion has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, and is certified in non-profit management and public speaking. She is active in the Henderson community, serving as Henderson City Councilwoman for Ward 3 and is a board member for the Henderson Arts Council.
Kathleen is a proud mother of a 17-year old son and 13-year old daughter. They enjoy road trips to southern Utah and the central coast of California in their free time.
“The cycle of abuse and homelessness can be broken. We may not be able to change what happened to these kids in the past, but we can change their future by giving them what they need today to succeed.”
